Man stabbed on dance floor in Sterling
Police are searching for a man accused of stabbing another man at a Sterling restaurant and nightclub early Nov. 14.Deputies were called to Ned Devine's in the Town Center Plaza at about 1:30 a.m. after a man was stabbed on the dance floor, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said.
The victim, a 39-year-old Herndon man, said he was on the dance floor when he confronted a man his girlfriend said inappropriately touched her. A fight broke out, and the victim was stabbed, Troxell said.
The victim was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he is expected to fully recover. The attacker is described as a 5-foot-7-inch-tall black man with a thin build, Troxell said.
