 Strawberry Festival - The Delaplane Strawberry Festival will take place on Memorial Day weekend, May 23-24, at Sky Meadows State Park just off Route 17 in northern Fauquier County. This will include pick-your-own opportunities at Hollin Farms and Hartland Orchard on Leeds Manor Road. There will also be local crafters, old-fashioned children's games, hayrides, live entertainment onstage, a bake sale, petting farm and fresh strawberries. Special events include a 5K Trail Run/Walk, the National Strawberry Eating Championship and an outdoor worship service. This is sponsored by Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
