Loudoun Valley defeated Cedar Run District foes Osbourn Park and Culpeper in a tri-match Sept. 4 at Loudoun Golf and Country Club in Purcellville. The Vikings shot a four-player total of 148 in the nine-hole match. Osbourn Park was second with a 172 and Culpeper shot a 184.

Junior Zack Bosse led all golfers in the match with his 1-under par round of 34. Viking sophomore Tanner Welsh carded a 37, while teammates Brian Hickey (38) and Scott Davidson (39) also factored in the scoring.

Bosse's leading performance Thursday capped off his big week. Bosse won the Stoneleigh Golf Club’s men’s championship over the Labor Day Holiday.
