Governor's announcements

Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine today announced appointments to the following boards and commissions:

Board of Counseling

Catherine Schwaery of Fairfax County, behavior support coordinator for Loudoun County Public Schools.


Board for Social Work

Patricia Smith-Solan of Fairfax, social worker for Loudoun County Public Schools.


New assistant headmaster

Tim Beauchemin, formerly the history and civics teacher at Loudoun Country Day School and special assistant to the headmaster, has officially been promoted to assistant headmaster at the school.
