Elevator Speech seminar

The Loudoun Small Business Development Center is hosting a “Deliver a Dramatically Effective Elevator Speech” seminar from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, in Sterling.

Ever heard the saying, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it”? Ritsya Mitchell, of The Drama Coach in Herndon, will discuss how to craft an elevator speech with a twist and deliver it with memorable impact. She says you’ll see increased confidence, energy and visibility and an increased bottom line for your small business. Mitchell will tell how to create a brief introduction speech with essential basics about you and your company, and then transform these basics from nice to attention-grabbing via elements of drama such as intonation, gestures, facial expressions, pacing, emphasis and visual aids.

The program is free, but registration is required. Call 703-430-7222, or e-mail http://sbdc@loudounsbdc.org.
