McCowat fans 20

Dominion's Geoffrey McCowat struck out 20 batters in a complete game, two-hit shutout March 18 versus Group AAA Gar-Field of Dale City.
Dominion coach Jay Raines believes the strikeout total is a state record for a seven-inning contest. McCowat's 20 strikeouts is currently being validated for the Virginia High School League record book.
McCowat also had a big game offensively with two home runs and five RBIs in the 7-0 victory.
“The kid has the ability,” Raines said.
