Local chiropractic firm to care for Olympians during the Games
Jay Greenstein, chiropractor and CEO of Sport and Spine Rehab – which has an office in Sterling -- will head to Beijing Aug. 5 with nine other chiropractors to provide care for the Olympic athletes.
Greenstein will act as the International Sports Chiropractic Association's Chef de Mission, providing leadership to all the ISCA chiropractors involved.
“This position speaks highly of Dr. Greenstein and [SSP] with the quality of care they provide,” said Candy Baracat-Donovan, spokesman for SSP.
SSP has locations all over the Washington metropolitan area, including the new office in Sterling at 46440 Benedict Drive, Suite 106.
“I am honored to represent the ISCA at this historic event,” Greenstein said. “Chiropractic care is essential to of these Olympic athletes who have dedicated years to training for this event.”
ISCA will be providing its serves free of charge, or at a reduced charge where possible.
“They are there to provide services to all athletes,” said Baracat-Donovan. “Some [athletes] from other countries don't receive the same type of treatments as others, and [the chiropractors] are there for them.”
