Farm Bureau, For You
The Loudoun County office of Virginia Farm Bureau has been around for decades now, but there are plenty of folks who don't know what they do, even if they think they do!
First, Farm Bureau of course offers insurance, and not just for farms. If you own a home, a car, or a life (if you don't have a life, well, thats your problem) then Virginia Farm Bureau has insurance for you. A lot of people get introduced to Farm Bureau by signing up for their insurance. But what else do we do?
Farm Bureau is not just for large farmers. In Loudoun we are here to support ALL people involved in agriculture. Own one horse on three acres? We are here to represent you too. We are the voice of Loudoun county agriculture to local government and state government. As the saying goes, if you're not AT the table, you're ON the table!
As a member of Farm Bureau (it only costs 40 bucks!) you get significant discounts on hotels, car rentals, Dodge cars and trucks, houses (Amerilink Log homes), Lasik vision correction, Grainger catelog purchases, Banking services (Farm Bureau has its own bank!), listing in our very own Loudoun Farm Bureau Directory which goes to all our members, and of course even more items which would bore you to death to list here.
So if you farm in Loudoun or care about agriculture (or just want some good insurance and discounts!) you need to join Farm Bureau. The group is there to represent the interests of Loudoun farmers and ag businesses, but we can't do that unless we know what they are. So join up and make your voice heard, and take advantage...as the old tagline goes "membership has its priveledges."
