Loudoun Habitat for Humanity Golf Tournament - June 16
DULLES AREA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® SPONSORS GOLF TOURNAMENT
For the sixteenth year, the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS® will sponsor an annual golf tournament benefiting Habitat for Humanity in Loudoun County and the REALTORS® Political Action Committee(RPAC). Loudoun Habitat for Humanity was incorporated in Virginia on April 2, 1993 for the specific purpose of providing adequate housing for all Loudoun citizens in need.
DAAR members, guests and affiliates will gather at the Loudoun Golf and Country Club in Purcellville, Virginia on Monday, June 16th for an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. The course is one of the most beautiful and scenic in the area.
“Supporting Habitat for Humanity and RPAC is very important to the business of REALTORS® in Loudoun County and Northern Virginia," said Candice Bower, 2008 DAAR Chairman. "This event is a wonderful opportunity to support housing needs efforts in our community and to invest in the future of our business at the same time."
Event sponsors include Charles Fincher of Monarch Title, Mark D’Agostino of Tuscarora Title, Kathryn Whitecotton of Air-Treatment Co., Ken Shall of First Financial Group, Michele H. Wright of Michele H. Wright & Associates, Cathy Ware Partridge of Dominion Title and Kelly Gaitten, ABR of Carter Braxton Real Estate.
Along with Habitat for Humanity, DAAR also raises funds and actively supports other community-based organizations such as Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April, Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter (LAWS) Youth and Children’s Services, Loudoun Cares, , Loudoun Families for Children, Volunteers of America’s - Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Shelter, The Reality Store – Virginia Cooperative Services and the Good Shepherd Alliance.
