Two Loudoun Starbucks closing

Some residents will soon have to drive a little farther for their daily latte or cafe mocha.

As part of a plan to close 200 under-performing locations across the country, Starbucks announced this month that two of those closings will occur in Loudoun: 43300 Southern Walk Plaza, Suite 100, Broadlands, and 22025 Dulles Retail Plaza, Suite 100, in the Dulles 28 Center.

All told, Starbucks will shutter eight locations in the Washington, D.C., region. The two Loudoun Starbucks are the only Northern Virginia Starbucks the company is closing.

The company did not say when the stores would close.
