Presented by Breakthrough, Inc. International Ministry of Intercessory Prayer

Churches are emulating first-century Christianity that centered on prayer

Loudoun County is considered to be one of the fastest growing counties in the nation and an instrumental component of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Some church leaders believe transformation in the Body of Christ within Loudoun County will be a major catalyst in what ministers and layman alike anticipate will gradually lead to the long awaited revival in the Mid Atlantic region.

Did you know we have a powerful international prayer ministry headquartered in Loudoun? Breakthrough International Ministry of Intercessory Prayer located in Lincoln, is a non-denominational, non-profit, evangelical ministry processing over a hundred thousand prayer requests annually. These requests go to a network of nearly 4,000 intercessors who pray individually and faithfully for each request. Their prayer family extends into nearly eighty countries worldwide. Breakthrough was started in 1980 by well known Christian author Catherine Marshall and her husband, Leonard LeSourd.

Breakthrough promotes the power of Church intercession. Throughout the world, churches are prayerdiscovering that they are only as strong as their prayers. This renewed emphasis on prayer has brought exciting things to the Christian community. According to Breakthrough, the large and small, denominational and non-denominational congregations are participating in regular intercession and thereby are discovering the joy of prayer. In this turn toward intercession, churches are emulating first-century Christianity that centered on prayer. When the early church assembled and lifted up its voice in agreement the power of God came. “And when they prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” [Acts 4:31]

You will not want to miss this annual prayer training conference to renew your prayer life alongside warm fellowship with fellow intercessors.
