Loudoun Men of Integrity

LMI

How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!

The Loudoun Men of Integrity will be holding an enhanced monthly prayer breakfast on May 10.  It is being co-hosted by Church of the Holy Spirit (Pastor Clancy Nixon) and Prison Fellowship (Jim Heigl).  The event for this particular breakfast will have special music (the Gospel Group 4tified), a testimony by an ex-convict, a greeting by Mark Early (head of Prison Fellowship) and possibly one other surprise guest.  It ought to be an AWESOME event.  See LMI website (www.LMI4HIM.org).

Here are some of the details regarding the breakfast:

Venue:  Prison Fellowship Headquarters at Lansdowne

Date:  Saturday, May 10Time:  8:00 – 10:00 (fellowship & breakfast, followed by praise & worship, followed by speakers/testimony, and if time permits a time or prayer for each other).

Costs:  None, but freewill offering will be taken.

The Loudoun Men of Integrity is a Christ centered, interdenominational men's ministry designed to encourage men to take a more active role in their sphere of influence by focusing on God in their personal growth, family, workplace and community.

The Loudoun Men of Integrity has been in existence for approximately 12 years, with the first meetings being held in a private home.  The group has been influenced by Promise Keepers (PK), doing what has was urged by that organization, namely, create local men's ministries which in turn would foster small accountability groups.  Over the past years the Loudoun Men of Integrity has steadily grown and presently encompasses over a dozen denominations and 24 Churches.

The men meet in small groups within their congregations, and monthly at an inter-denominational breakfast meeting. It is an outgrowth of discussions related to helping men find other men, activities and ideas for building better lives with their God, spouses, families, congregations and their neighbors.

The board holds periodic Retreats for guidance in its ministry.

Matthew 28:19-20
